Recruiting National Consultant

The Sangha Tri-National Trust Fund (FTNS) is inviting applications for the recruitment of a National Consultant to support the development and validation of an Integrated and Harmonized Management Plan for the Sangha Tri-National (TNS) Landscape, funded through UNESCO International Assistance (World Heritage Fund). Working under the coordination of the International Consultant, the National Consultant will be responsible for the technical implementation of the project, including conducting the TNS landscape assessment, collecting and analyzing field data, preparing the first draft of the Integrated Management Plan (IMP), facilitating stakeholder consultations, supporting the tri-national validation workshop, and producing the required technical deliverables and communication materials. The consultancy will run for six months (August 2026–January 2027) and is estimated at 30 consultancy days.

Applicants must be nationals and residents of Cameroon, the Central African Republic, or the Republic of the Congo, hold a Master’s degree or PhD in natural resource management, environmental sciences, forestry, World Heritage site management, or a related field, and have at least five years of professional experience in the management and conservation of natural World Heritage sites, preferably transboundary protected areas.
