The Sangha Tri-National Trust Fund (FTNS) was established in March 2007 as a non-profit private entity according to English law under the name Sangha Trust Fund Limited.

2008

Charitable Organization Status

It was registered in the UK where it received charity status in 2008 under numbers 112327 and No. 6193079
In each of the three countries (Cameroon, Congo, CAR), FTNS has concluded a cooperation agreement with the ministry in charge of forests and protected areas.

2010

FTNS is recognized as a foreign in Cameroon

In 2010, FTNS is recognized as a foreign Fund authorized to exercise in Cameroon.

The Sangha Tri-National Trust Fund is a Trust Fund for the fostering of environment in the Central African region with aim to contribute to the long-term financing of conservation, eco-development and cross-border cooperation within the forest complex called the Sangha Tri- National (TNS).

Public and private actors

The result of a true partnership between public and private actors, and as a pioneer Trust Fund for the Tri -National oriented environment, FTNS figures as a model for the development of innovative and sustainable funding mechanisms to support the Convergence Plan of the Central African Forest Commission (COMIFAC).
