TNS Trust Fund

Grants

FTNS ensures prospective and transparent management of grants to be awarded to national parks. This process includes the following four steps:

The programming of FTNS activities is grafted on its overall strategy defining focal areas as National Parks (NP) and the influence areas around the National Parks. Programming is triennial.

The planning stage is a representation of the three-year programme into annual planning. It specifies the financial and technical support of FTNS to each National Park.

FTNS facilitates the implementation of the Annual Work Plans through a series of procedures ensuring transparency, relevance and rationality in resource mobilization, in the performance of activities in the flow and use of funds, in the reporting and in the continuous monitoring of operations.

FTNS conducts the closing of the financial year (audit), the update of the three-year program and the preparation of the annual work plan for the following year. This exercise aims at integrating the accumulated experience of FTNS implementation with managers and stakeholders into the implementation plans.
