🌍 Recruitment – Technical Assistant (Transboundary Cooperation & World Heritage)📍 Yaoundé, Cameroon

The Sangha Tri-National Foundation (FTNS) is recruiting a Technical Assistant – Transboundary Cooperation and World Heritage to support the scientific and technical coordination of the Sangha Tri-National (TNS) landscape, a unique transboundary forest ecosystem listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2012.

The TNS landscape brings together three major protected areas in the Congo Basin:

• Lobéké National Park – Cameroon
• Nouabalé-Ndoki National Park – Republic of Congo
• Dzanga-Sangha National Park – Central African Republic

The selected candidate will provide technical support to the Tri-National Scientific Committee (CST), particularly in implementing and monitoring its scientific roadmap and in tracking initiatives contributing to the management of the World Heritage site.

🔎 Key Responsibilities

• Support the coordination of activities of the Tri-National Scientific Committee (CST)
• Contribute to monitoring the TNS scientific roadmap
• Prepare technical notes, reports, and synthesis documents
• Ensure the collection and consolidation of scientific information
• Support the monitoring of technical initiatives related to the management of the TNS landscape

👤 Profile

• PhD preferred or Master’s degree in biodiversity conservation, ecology, environmental management, or a related field
• Experience in conservation project management or protected area management
• Good understanding of transboundary conservation landscapes
• Strong analytical, writing, and coordination skills
• Excellent command of French and working knowledge of English

📍 Duty station: Yaoundé, Cameroon
(with occasional field missions within the TNS landscape)
